The useful check is what a particular method debits, what the account receives and what conditions apply when money leaves.

What is the Quotex minimum deposit?
The official homepage and FAQ give US$10 as the entry figure. The FAQ describes choosing an available method in the account. Neither public headline establishes the complete method inventory for every location or the exact amount a local bank will debit.
Record the method, source currency, account currency and date before interpreting a number. A current gateway preview is more useful for a particular payment than a screenshot from another country or an old comparison page. If the figures disagree, ask which rule applies rather than transferring an amount that may not meet the displayed threshold.

Quotex minimum deposit in INR: why there is no permanent rupee figure
A dollar headline must be converted using the actual payment quote, including any separate charge. Do not present yesterday’s exchange rate as today’s checkout amount or imply that the platform always debits rupees.
Illustrative example: if US$10 is converted at a hypothetical ₹85 per dollar, the base amount is ₹850. If a separate ₹20 charge applies, the total debit becomes ₹870. These inputs are invented for teaching; they are not a live rate or a Quotex fee quotation.
Now suppose a different route debits ₹870 but credits only US$9.80. Its effective cost is approximately ₹88.78 per credited dollar. The useful comparison is the net account credit, not the round dollar amount in the advert.
Save both currencies and the conversion preview. If the source debit and account credit do not reconcile, ask which rate and charge were used before assuming the difference has a particular cause.
A pre-payment checklist that does not require making a transfer
- Confirm the genuine account address. Do not fund through a forwarded private message or an unverified agent.
- Read the current eligibility rules. Check country and product permissions independently of website access.
- Select the actual method. Record its displayed minimum, maximum and currencies without confirming a payment.
- Compare account ownership. Confirm the genuine funding source and any verification requirements.
- Inspect conversion and charges. Capture the expected debit and expected credit separately.
- Read withdrawal conditions. Check destination rules and outgoing thresholds before considering the journey understood.
- Review any bonus separately. Ask how accepting, declining or cancelling it affects access to funds.
- Preserve the quote date. A private dated record makes later discrepancies easier to explain.
If a condition is unclear, a deposit is not necessary to ask for an answer. Avoid creating a second account to seek a different payment option. Use the documented support process for genuine corrections.
What a US$10 balance means when stakes are fixed
Use stake ÷ current usable balance × 100 to calculate the fraction exposed in one full-stake loss. The examples below assume a hypothetical US$1 stake; they do not verify the current Quotex minimum trade or recommend a budget.

A fixed dollar stake becomes a larger share of what remains. A low funding threshold therefore does not automatically produce small percentage risk. Increasing the deposit solely to make the percentage look smaller exposes more money and is not a conclusion supported by this table.
Payout maths: a winning trade may not replace a losing stake
Consider a hypothetical US$1 contract paying 80% profit on a win and losing the full stake on a loss. One win adds US$0.80; one loss removes US$1. A sequence containing one of each ends US$0.20 lower before any other cost.
The simple break-even expression is 1 ÷ (1 + profit-payout fraction). At 0.80, that is approximately 55.56%, under assumptions of identical stakes, no ties and no additional costs. This is a mathematical threshold, not an estimated achievable win rate or a claim about a current Quotex payout.
Read the calculation tools alongside their assumptions. A calculator can explain exposure; it cannot predict that a small deposit will grow.
Bonuses and virtual balances need separate treatment
A promotional balance and your own deposited cash may have different withdrawal conditions. Read the actual offer’s turnover, cancellation and eligibility rules. Do not assume a percentage bonus reduces the possibility of losing your own money.
A demo balance is different again. Virtual practice can help you understand controls and contract outcomes without funding. It does not test source debit, real payment processing, document checks or actual withdrawals.
Quotex deposit not credited: organise the evidence
Start with the source status and the account-history status. “Debited,” “pending,” “authorised,” “reversed” and “credited” should not be silently treated as the same event.
- Keep the amount, currencies, date, time and timezone.
- Preserve the source reference and intended account reference.
- Save the account’s confirmation or error message.
- For crypto, keep the exact network and transaction hash.
- Ask whether funds were received and which credit is expected.
A useful support message says: “Payment [reference] for [amount/currency], initiated [time/timezone], shows [source status]. My account shows [status]. Please confirm receipt, intended credit and any outstanding requirement.” Do not deposit again just to make an unresolved transaction appear newer.
If the source shows only a temporary authorisation, ask the payment institution about its status rather than assuming the trading platform received a final transfer. Keep the original chronology even if a reversal later occurs.

Is US$10 enough to make a regular income?

Are deposits free?
The FAQ describes deposits as free while noting payment-system fees and conversion. Confirm the complete debit/credit quote rather than reading “free” as proof of zero total cost.
Will verification be needed later?
