Reality Check on Trading Income: key research steps
Why screenshot earnings are misleading
A screenshot of one profitable transaction omits how many losing contracts came before it, whether the balance is real or virtual, the stake taken, and whether withdrawals were actually received. Gross winnings are not equal to net profit after stake losses, fees and taxes. A sponsored promotion has a different evidentiary value than verified, representative customer data.
The negative payout asymmetry
Imagine ten equal $100 contracts paying 80% net profit on wins. Six wins earn $480 and four losses cost $400: $80 before any charges. Five wins earn $400 and five losses cost $500: a $100 net loss. Changing the quoted payout to 60% also changes the break-even hit rate from 55.56% to 62.5%.
Financial planning is different from speculation
Debt repayments, rent, school fees, medical bills and emergency savings should be treated separately from speculative accounts. Borrowing to recover a trading loss compounds risk. Drawdown recovery becomes harder after a large balance decline; after losing half a balance, a 100% gain is needed merely to return to the starting amount.
How to evaluate a promised strategy
Demand a full trade log with outcomes, paid payout percentages, costs, failed trades and a representative testing window. Review whether it came from virtual trading, and whether the platform is legally available where you live. Continue with payout mathematics.

Beginner guide: Searches about fast online earnings are common, but a video showing a large payout does not demonstrate repeatable income. Before estimating possible earnings from binary options, compare the amount won on a successful contract with the amount lost when the prediction is wrong.
Work through the payout maths
Suppose a binary contract risks 100 units and promises 80 units of profit if the outcome is correct. A losing trade costs 100; a winning trade produces 80 profit, not 100. Excluding other costs, the break-even proportion of wins is 100 ÷ (100 + 80), or about 55.56%. Winning half of those trades would produce a net loss over a comparable number of equal-sized outcomes.
Separate marketing from verifiable evidence
Posts promising a fixed daily salary from one-minute trades often omit losses, account funding, favourable selection of screenshots and the impact of withdrawing cash. A social-media influencer’s displayed balance is not independently audited performance. Ask whether an earning figure describes profit after losses, costs and unsuccessful attempts—or merely a few selected winning payouts.
Consider financial and emotional exposure
Money needed for rent, essentials, emergency savings or debt repayment should not be exposed to speculative products. Chasing losses through increasing stakes can turn a small setback into severe financial damage. If your real goal is additional income, compare lower-risk work, skill-building and employment opportunities rather than treating binary options as a dependable substitute.
Common beginner question
How much could a beginner make each day?
No reliable daily figure can be promised. Results can be negative, and binary contracts may lose the entire stake. The payout calculator is for understanding scenarios, not predicting earnings.
